History & Accreditation
Founded with the belief that quality care should be accessible to all, EQCS has proudly served the Charlotte community and surrounding areas for years. Our team is accredited and certified to provide a wide range of clinical and support services. Accreditation ensures we maintain the highest standards of care, compliance, and accountability.
Empowerment Quality Care Services, LLC was co-founded in May 2009 in Charlotte, North Carolina, by the current owner and CEO, Andre Reynolds. In May 2020, the company welcomed Chuck Thompson as Chief Operating Officer and co-owner. Together, we have developed a program designed to stand out by combining intensive educational modules that strengthen each Member’s motivation to achieve their goals with a structured living environment that supports their health, social, and personal needs.
CARF Accreditation
We are proud and honored to have received Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) Accreditation in August 2013 and to have most recently achieved and maintained CQL Accreditation in Quality Assurance. Our participation in CQL’s international accreditation program demonstrates our commitment to excellence in person-centered services and supports that enhance quality of life.
