EQCS Staff Unite for a Cause at the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk – Charlotte, Oct. 11
On October 11, the Empowerment Quality Care Services (EQCS) team proudly joined thousands of survivors, supporters, families, and advocates at the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk in Charlotte. This annual event continues to be one of the most powerful gatherings in the fight against breast cancer—and this year, our staff showed up with heart, unity, and purpose.
Walking for Awareness, Hope, and Empowerment
EQCS is deeply committed to supporting the communities we serve, and participating in the MORE THAN PINK Walk aligns with our mission of empowering individuals through compassion and quality care. Our staff walked not only to raise awareness but also to honor those currently battling breast cancer, celebrate survivors, and remember the loved ones we’ve lost.
The atmosphere in Charlotte was filled with inspiration—pink flags waving, teams cheering one another on, and stories of strength echoing throughout the crowd. For our EQCS employees, being part of this event was a meaningful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together.
A Team Effort That Reflects Our Values
From early-morning meetups to crossing the finish line side by side, the EQCS team demonstrated the unity and compassion that define our organization. Many staff members dedicated their walk to clients, family members, or friends affected by breast cancer. Others walked simply to contribute to a future where no one has to face this disease.
By participating, the EQCS team helped support groundbreaking research, community health programs, and lifesaving services funded by Susan G. Komen. We are honored to stand with so many others who share the vision of a world without breast cancer.
