Intensive In-Home

Intensive In-Home (IIH) services are designed to stabilize youth with emotional or behavioral challenges while keeping families together in their home environment.

What to expect

Family-centered treatment plans tailored to each household
Every family receives a customized treatment plan based on their unique strengths, challenges, and goals. This includes assessments, collaborative planning, and ongoing adjustments as progress is made. The focus is on practical strategies that fit naturally into daily routines.

24/7 crisis response and support
Support doesn’t stop at the end of the workday. Families have access to round-the-clock crisis intervention, guidance, and stabilization services. Whether it’s navigating a sudden emotional crisis or addressing urgent behavioral concerns, help is always available when it’s needed most.

Therapy, skill-building, and parent coaching sessions
Services include individual and family therapy, hands-on skill-building activities, and personalized coaching for parents and caregivers. These sessions empower families with tools for managing behavior, communicating effectively, and creating a safe, structured home environment.

Benefits

Prevents out-of-home placement
By providing intensive, in-home support, the program helps keep children safely within their families and communities, reducing the need for foster care, residential programs, or hospitalization.

Strengthens family communication and stability
Families learn healthier ways to resolve conflict, express emotions, and support one another. Over time, this leads to stronger relationships, improved routines, and a more stable home life.

Supports emotional well-being and academic success
Children receive the emotional and behavioral support they need to thrive at home and in school. Improved coping skills, confidence, and communication often lead to better focus, classroom performance, and engagement in learning.
